Santiago Fine Dining and Wine Country: Plan Boragó on a Separate Day

A Santiago trip can include both a destination dinner and a wine-country outing, but putting them on the same day often makes each less enjoyable. Give Boragó its own evening, and reserve a different day for Casablanca Valley. This approach protects the dinner from a delayed winery departure and keeps the wine tasting from becoming a race back to the city.

Understand the Boragó budget
On the verification date, Boragó listed the Endémica menu at CLP 199,000, with optional wine pairing at CLP 99,000 or juice pairing at CLP 49,000. Those combinations total CLP 298,000 or CLP 248,000 per person before any other charges. Reconfirm prices and what is included before payment.
Use the budget to decide whether the tasting dinner is the main splurge or one of several. An elaborate winery lunch the following day may be unnecessary if your priority is enjoying the wines and landscape.
Keep the city day light
Choose a manageable walk or cultural stop and leave time to change before dinner. Avoid treating an early afternoon snack as another full meal. Ask the restaurant for the expected duration and plan transport around the confirmed address, not an old saved map pin.
Book the valley separately
For Casablanca, confirm each winery’s visit format, tasting appointment and lunch availability. Arrange a driver or tour when drinking. Send dietary needs in advance and obtain explicit acceptance; do not assume every tasting menu can become vegan or accommodate multiple restrictions.
