Riviera Maya Fine Dining: Le Chique, HA and Resort Reservations

Fine dining in the Riviera Maya requires more than choosing a restaurant name. The hotel, entrance rules and transfer can matter as much as the menu. Le Chique and HA are options for a special dinner near Playa del Carmen, but a resort stay does not automatically include either reservation.
Start with the current location
| Restaurant | Location verified | Check before booking |
|---|---|---|
| Le Chique | Hotel Xcaret Arte, per its current Michelin listing | Exact entrance and access conditions |
| HA | Hotel Xcaret México | Extra cost and arrival instructions |
Older descriptions can lead to the wrong property. Use the address on your booking confirmation and send that address to the driver. Cancún, Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen are not interchangeable departure points.
Le Chique: dinner as the main event
Michelin describes contemporary Mexican tasting menus and theatrical presentation. Choose this format when the meal is the principal activity. Ask about duration, dress expectations, dietary adaptations and outside-guest access before committing to transport.
HA: access and inclusions
The official page confirms outside guests can dine there and introduces Carlos Gaytán’s contemporary Mexican cooking. Hotel Xcaret México’s FAQ identifies HA as an additional-cost restaurant. Check your exact package rather than assuming all-inclusive covers dinner.
From beach to table
Keep the daytime activity close enough to return and change comfortably. Avoid combining a full Tulum excursion or uncertain boat return with an early dinner. If staying in Cancún, decide whether the round-trip transfer suits the evening; no fixed journey time applies to every hotel and traffic condition.
Before paying
- Confirm complete meal price, beverages and supplements.
- Ask for the hotel gate and visitor procedure.
- Review cancellation, age and dress policies.
- Arrange the return ride and confirm holiday service separately.
For celebrations, explain what matters most: seating time, dietary accommodation or a quiet table. Treat requests as provisional until confirmed. Explore our Michelin dining and destination coverage. The photograph shows Tulum as regional context, not these dining rooms.
