A young chef and a single counter
Trescha is the project of chef Tomás Treschanski, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London and cooked in Spain, Sweden and Denmark before returning to Buenos Aires. It occupies a remodeled house in Villa Crespo with a whisky bar, a glass-fronted terrace and a dining room centered on one cedarwood counter for eleven guests. It holds one Michelin star in the 2026 Michelin Guide Argentina.
Hundreds of Argentine products
The tasting menu is a sequence of small dishes that changes through the year. Michelin notes that the kitchen works with more than 350 premium Argentine products and combines techniques such as ageing, emulsions, gels and searing on a single plate. Upstairs, a test kitchen serves as the restaurant’s research space.
Why the counter matters
With only eleven seats facing the cooks, Trescha feels closer to a chef’s table than a dining room. Conversation is part of the evening; come curious and ready to ask about the producers behind each course.
Buenos Aires around the meal
Villa Crespo borders Palermo, so an afternoon of boutique browsing fits naturally before dinner. Our Buenos Aires boutique shopping guide covers the neighborhood, and the city’s other starred tables include Aramburu and Don Julio. The photograph on this page shows the area, not the restaurant.
Reserve directly
Trescha manages its own bookings. With so few seats, reserve early, confirm the start time and cancellation terms, and share dietary requirements in advance.
For the rest of the stay, you can compare accommodation through our travel partner. Our ShopMy travel collection offers optional packing ideas. These affiliate links may earn us a commission from qualifying bookings or purchases; they do not reserve a table. Return to the Michelin dining hub to explore other distinctions and destinations.
