Carnival Transport: Plan the Last Journey First

It is easy to plan how to arrive when everyone is excited and wide awake. The return deserves at least as much thought. Decide how you expect to get back before filling the evening with everything else, and keep a workable alternative if that first plan changes.

Use current information

Check the transport operator’s service notices and event organizer’s instructions for your specific date. Do not assume an ordinary timetable, pickup point or driving route applies during a festival. Ask your accommodation about the location you intend to use, then verify reservations and services directly. General advice cannot replace the journey you actually need.

Make the group plan simple

Agree on a recognizable meeting point and share the accommodation address in a format everyone can access. If the group splits, each person should have the essential return information. Decide when you will leave rather than waiting for the most tired person to negotiate it in a crowd. The last journey is easier when the plan has already been made.
