Trip Planning
Three regions, three days
Mendoza is best taken one wine region per day, with a long lunch in the middle. Book winery visits ahead — most are by reservation only.
Stay in the city or Chacras de Coria, and hire a driver: the tastings add up.
Day 1
Luján de Cuyo
A tasting at a historic Luján de Cuyo bodega, known for its old-vine Malbec.
A long, multi-course winery lunch with pairings.
A light dinner and a stroll in Chacras de Coria.
Day 2
The Uco Valley
Drive about 90 minutes south into the Uco Valley, with the Andes filling the windshield.
Tasting and lunch at a modern winery set among high-altitude vines.
Sunset over the vineyards before heading back — or stay the night in a vineyard lodge.
Day 3
Maipú by Bike
Cycle between Maipú’s family wineries and olive-oil producers.
An olive-oil and wine tasting lunch.
A farewell asado back in the city.
