Jet Set LatAM · Hotel Review
On the hillside above Tangolunda Bay, Quinta Real Huatulco looks more like a Mediterranean village than a resort: whitewashed domes, arches and terraces tumbling toward the Pacific. It’s Huatulco’s boutique classic, small enough to feel personal and known for suites with their own plunge pools.
This Quinta Real Huatulco review covers the suites, the beach and how it fits into a Huatulco trip.
The suites
Accommodation is all suites, many with ocean views and some with a private plunge pool on the terrace. Book a pool suite for the full experience; they’re the reason to choose Quinta Real over the bay’s larger resorts.
The beach club
The hotel sits above the water rather than on the sand, with a beach club on Tangolunda Bay below. Tangolunda’s calm, protected water makes it one of Huatulco’s easiest bays for swimming.
The setting
Huatulco’s nine bays and national park are a short drive or boat ride away. Book a bay tour from the Santa Cruz marina and a day trip to the coffee farms of Pluma Hidalgo in the mountains.
