Fera Palace Salvador: Art Deco Rooms and a Historic-Center Stay

Fera Palace makes sense when Salvador’s built history belongs at the center of your trip. It offers a different starting point from a beach-focused hotel: use the address for a deliberate city stay, then plan coastal visits and destination dinners around it. The room decision should follow your group and daily rhythm.
Start with the building and address
The official hotel site describes a 1934 Art Deco building on Rua Chile, inspired by New York’s Flatiron Building. Its address is Rua Chile 20, Centro Histórico. Look at the accommodation as part of an urban visit, with time for architecture, cultural stops and a return to the hotel. Do not use a broad historic-center label as a substitute for checking your actual route.
Choose the layout you need
The current room list distinguishes a compact Classic Single from Deluxe rooms with King or Twin options, and an Executive category with a connecting-room option. Ask which combination is available for your dates. A family needing connection and a couple wanting a larger bed are solving different problems; request written confirmation of the configuration you book.
Make room for the rooftop
The hotel presents a rooftop with a pool and a view over Todos os Santos Bay. Our suggested day leaves a hotel interval between sightseeing and dinner so those shared spaces can matter. Check current guest access and any event arrangements before treating a sunset plan as fixed. A photograph alone does not establish how the space will operate during your stay.
Put Origem on its own evening
The related guide introduces Origem, a separate Salvador restaurant led by Fabrício Lemos and Lisiane Arouca. Reserve it independently and plan the journey from Rua Chile around the confirmed dinner address. You do not need to put a long excursion, a rooftop appointment and a tasting dinner into the same afternoon to have a worthwhile city day.
Compare the final rate
Ask about breakfast, room access, cancellation and arrival transfers. If a connecting arrangement or a particular view motivates the booking, verify it for the actual category. The flight and hotel tools below help plan Salvador; they do not guarantee a room at Fera Palace or include a separate restaurant reservation.
