Sánchez-Kane uses traditional tailoring as a starting point for experimentation. The brand’s own statement connects clothing with performance, installation, writing and sculpture, and frames its Macho Sentimental idea around freedom from gendered dress codes. That makes this a useful designer to approach through both fashion and art.
